Plaza Premium Group is a global leader in integrated airport and traveller hospitality solutions. They operate the world’s largest network of international airport lounges with their vision to light the way towards empowering businesses to make every journey one of discovery, wellbeing, safety and assurance. 

Not having gone a re-design previously, their old website was outdated and there was no clear journey for the user in discovering PPG’s value proposition and what services they offer as a business to their partners and customers. 

 
 

THE PROBLEM

“How might we re-design an experience for partners and consumers to better understand PPG’s business model and service offerings?”

 
 

Through a creative and strategy-led transformation, we wanted to position PPG as ‘The Guiding Light’ in the ever-changing landscape of airport hospitality, applying this concept through a total brand and digital experience re-design.

We also wanted to communicate PPG’s value proposition in a clear and engaging way, allowing businesses and customers to better understand the company’s overall purpose and service offerings.

 

Early wireframes for menu and homepage — experimenting with possible layouts and defining the site’s architecture as well as key sections of the homepage.

Before — Website was cluttered and had no defined journey. The imagery and type felt outdated and there was no visual heirarchy in the layouts or text.

After — Overall cleaner and more modern UI with clear visual heirarchy, strong imagery and humanised copy. Flow of pages feel more streamlined and visually engaging.
